Job summary

Penske Logistics in Coppell, TX is hiring full-time local Class A CDL truck drivers for a dedicated route. You will perform multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unload with pallet jacks, and scan products as they are delivered. You’ll drive late-model Penske trucks on a schedule that keeps you home daily.

This position offers weekends off, paid vacation from day one, and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and a clean DMV/MVR.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; must be domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer violations/accidents
• English language proficiency per 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)
• Willing to work the stated schedule and pass background/drug screening; safety sensitive role

What you will do

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 11:00 PM dispatch time
• Avg. 50 hours per week

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
