Job summary

Penske Logistics in Center Valley, PA is hiring full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers. You will make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products to customer locations, unload with electric pallet jacks, and provide professional customer service on local routes that bring you home daily.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• DOT medical card required or ability to obtain.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Compliance with federal/state laws and safety requirements.
• Proven reliability and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized groceries to customer locations.
• Unload using electric pallet jacks; no pallet breakdown required.
• Provide timely, accurate deliveries with professional customer service.
• Run local routes with home daily schedule.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $92000 annually
• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort and reliability
• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to promote safety and protect drivers

What you will do:

• Make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products to customer locations
• Unload product using electric pallet jacks physical but efficient, no pallet breakdown required
• Ensure timely, accurate deliveries while providing professional customer service
• Run local routes that allow you to return home daily

Schedule:

• Multiple schedule options available
• 11:00 PM dispatch drivers can choose any 5-day schedule (excluding Monday through Friday) for maximum flexibility
• 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM dispatch times set schedules with required days
• Opportunities for additional earnings: $200 incentive for picking up a 6th day

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
