Job summary

Penske Logistics in Memphis, TN is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver for a local, dedicated route. You will drive a late-model Penske truck, work a Monday–Friday schedule with a 10:30 PM start, and be home daily.

Average earnings are about $88,000 annually with incentives up to $10,400. Benefits include health/vision/dental coverage, retirement plans, paid vacation from day one, disability and life insurance, uniforms, and driver referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL; must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Comply with all federal/state laws and full attendance is essential.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Background check and drug screening required; position safety sensitive.

What you will do:

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
