Job summary

Penske Logistics in Memphis is seeking full-time Class A CDL drivers to travel regionally, delivering parts and supplies to various locations. You will unload trailers and scan items as they are delivered, operating late-model Penske trucks designed for comfort and safety.

Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL, interstate DOT medical card, and a clean DMV/MVR record. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay, with up-front paid vacations and retirement advantages.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and U.S. domicile.
• DOT interstate medical card required.
• 1 year tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• DMV/MVR with ≤2 violations/accidents in 3 years.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Must complete Penske employment process and background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Travel regionally to work at various Penske locations as needed.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to retail stores.
• Unload trailer with pallet jacks, hand trucks, and totes.
• Use scanner to log products as they are unloaded and delivered.

What you will do

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed

• Unload trailer using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and totes
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment
• Drivers will travel to assigned location, and work from there for duration of work assignment

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency.
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
