Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Lawrenceville, GA. It offers average annual earnings around $90,000 with top earners up to $120,000, plus incentives. Expect a 5-day work week, weekends required, home daily with occasional layovers, and a robust benefits package.

You will drive late model Penske trucks with a dual zone reefer, perform loading/unloading, and maintain professionalism with customers. Weekly dispatch varies between 10 AM and 7 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required in the U.S.
• State license and DOT medical card current and valid
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience (last 3 years) or 2 years in last 5 years
• Clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer violations or accidents

Responsibilities

• Deliver 25–55 weekly multi-stop routes to a major coffee chain
• Load/unload using hand dolly and lift gate; temperature-controlled loads
• Maintain professional demeanor when interacting with customers
• Scan items during unloading and delivery

What you will do:

• 25 to 55 weekly multi-stop deliveries to stores of a major coffee chain
• High volume loading and unloading utilizing hand dolly and lift gate to unload coffee and milk products from a refrigerated trailer
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
• Scan items as they are unloaded and delivered

Schedule:

• Scheduling flexibility required; dispatch times will vary between 10 AM and 7 PM
• 5-day work week; weekends are required
• Mostly home daily with the possibility of layovers
• Consecutive days off during the week

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Dual zone reefer trailer for temperature-controlled loads

• Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
