Pay and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $29.93/hour
• Paid training
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays
• Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (on-call basis)

Route and Equipment

• Local route
• Tractor types: Day cab, straight truck, or box truck
• Must operate a manual transmission
• Trailer types: Dry van, reefer, flatbed, conestoga
• Equipment: Pallet jack, lift gate, dolly, strapping, tarping
• Freight: Touch & no-touch, including appliances, garage doors, food, telecommunication supplies, etc.

Trucks are 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fuel at over 800 facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
• DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Valid CDL with endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws/regulations
