Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring CDL Class A truck drivers for local, home daily routes in Glen Burnie, MD. This role features no-touch, live unload, multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, and safety-focused operations on late-model Penske trucks.

You’ll earn an average around $94k annually with performance incentives up to $10,400, plus comprehensive benefits. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S.
• DOT medical card required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• English language proficiency required by federal law.
• Must work the required schedule, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.
• 17 stops per week.

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $94,741 annually
• Additional performance incentives available, up to $10,400 annually
• No touch - live load and unload
• Local, home daily
• Hazmat endorsement required upon hire; reimbursement is available for the initial endorsement.

What you will do:

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 17 stops per week

Schedule:

• Dispatch time 4AM
• 5 day schedule, Monday through Friday
• Average 50 hours per week
• Home daily

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
