Job summary

Penske is seeking full-time Class A CDL drivers for home daily routes in New Jersey. Average annual earnings are around $79,000 with incentives up to $10,400. Expect a 5-day schedule, Monday through Friday, with about 50 hours per week and home daily.

Responsibilities include multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, unloading with pallet jacks, and scanning products. A comprehensive benefits package supports you and your family.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• DOT medical card (non-excepted interstate) required.
• 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years.
• 3 years DMV/MVR with <=2 moving violations or accidents.
• Ability to read and speak English for safety and compliance.
• Background check and drug screening required.

What you will do:

5:15PM Dispatch

5 day schedule

Avg. 50 hours per week

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence

Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required

1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents

In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
