The Class A CDL Driver reports to the Facilities & Operations Supervisor, Dispatcher, or the Terminal Operations Supervisor. The Driver is responsible for operating a tractor trailer with a minimum of 26,000 GVW to transport and deliver equipment and materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with company standards and DOT regulations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading using various equipment, knowledge of routing and safety procedures, and performing vehicle inspections.
This position emphasizes safety, operational performance, and adherence to internal controls. It involves direct communication with supervisors and team members, working in diverse weather conditions, and handling physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds and maneuvering vehicles and materials.
Qualifications include a valid Class A or B CDL, a medical card, at least 24 months of recent driving experience, limited violations and accidents, and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
