Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Indianapolis, IN—offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

$2000 or more per week - And it gets better. Driver positions pay weekly with hourly pay of $29.00 and 40+ hours per week. Medical, dental & vision after 30 days, PTO from day 1, uniforms and 401(k) with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards and maintaining logs.
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $29.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Earn extra $1/hour for every 3 endorsements/certifications
• Per Diem Pay: $50 per night
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper
• Tenure Bonus:Pays You $1000 Each Year
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday - Must be Flexible

• Deliver SOLOTo:IN, OH, MI, TN & KY
• Route:Regional
• Tractor Type: Day Cabs and Sleepers - Possibility of 26' Straight Truck
• TrailerType:48' - 53' Flatbeds, Dry Vans, Reefers, Conestogas, Curtainsides and Container
• Equipment: pallet jack, lift gate, rollers or Moffett
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight:Mix or Touch and No Touch
• 1 year of flatbed experience
• Hazmat, Tanker & Doubles/Triples Endorsements required
• Experience with strapping, chaining & tarping
