Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class B Truck Driver in Lebanon, TN, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. You will drive a 26' straight truck locally and regionally, with a 4-day work week and pay of $29.50 per hour plus per diem.

Training is provided and advancement is possible as you join a team devoted to safety and service. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance, loading/unloading freight, and following routes with a strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain logs/records.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $29.50 Per Hour
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night with 1 - 2 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Loyalty Bonus pays you $5000 half at 6 months and half at 1 year
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Between Monday – Friday 4 Day Work Week
• Retail touch frieght delivery experience REQUIRED
• Start Time: 4:00 AM - 6:30 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
