Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Antioch, TN is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver to run local home-daily routes with a 7:30 PM start, Monday–Friday, and weekly pay.

The role includes paid training, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide network. You will operate 26 ft box trucks with touch freight (auto body parts), perform pre/post trip checks, and maintain logs while complying with safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A or B CDL with endorsements.
• Experience in a tractor-trailer or similar vehicle required.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background checks.
• DOT physical and road test required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading when required by customer.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Schedule

$1442 per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.65 per Mile with 1885 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$20.00 per Stop with 5 Stops per Week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Start Time: 7:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
