Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Team Driver in Laredo, TX. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a team-focused driving schedule designed for reliability and stability.

Drivers earn $1,650+ per week with a weekly guarantee and quarterly safety bonus. The position includes paid training, 53' dry vans, and no-touch freight on most routes. Home weekly and benefits start after 30 days; uniform and boot allowances are provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
• Must be able to operate manual transmission.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with regulations.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions precisely.
• Good reading and comprehension skills for policy and route notes.
• Team driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive heavy-duty trucks in a team driving arrangement.
• Ensure safety and compliance with federal/state regulations.
• Load/unload or assist with unloading if required by customer.
• Maintain accurate logs and vehicle records.
• Participate in pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age


• Pass a Ryder Drug Test


• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years


• Pass a DOT physical


• Pass a Ryder road test


• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position


• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:


• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR


• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR


• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years


• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions


• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
