Job summary

Ryder is recruiting a Class A CDL Truck Driver to operate from Winston-Salem, NC. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. You will drive solo on routes east of Kansas with a sleeper tractor, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.52 - $0.55 per Mile with 2500 - 3000 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$19.05 per Stop with 3 - 7 Stops per Week
• Nights out: 4 - 5 Times Per Week
• Safety Bonus:Pays you $500 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
• Sign-on Bonus: Pays you $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
• Loyalty Bonus:Pays you $1750 at 6 months and $1750 at 1 year
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Sunday - Friday

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
