Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Riverview, MI with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Start times between 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM, Monday to Friday, no weekends, and paid training.

Earn $1,790+ per week with pay for miles, stops, and per diem. Sign-on bonuses of $1,000 at 30 days and 90 days, plus 401(k) with company match after one year and 12 weeks maternity leave eligibility. Join a supportive team and grow with Ryder.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with verifiable experience.
• DOT physical, drug test, and background checks required.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and read applicable laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and standards.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain logs and records.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.60 per Mile with 1400 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$15.00 per Stop with 50 Stops per Week
• Sign On Bonus: Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night up to 3 to 4 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday - Friday NO WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM Dispatch

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
