Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Floater Truck Driver in Waco, Texas, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Driver positions are regional with solo miles and stops pay, paid training, and a schedule of Sunday to Thursday. Equipment includes Sleeper tractors, Dry Van trailers, and pallets handling tools; Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• Minimum 9 months to 5 years experience in similar roles.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Load/unload freight as required and maintain logs accurately.
• Deliver to specified regional points and support other locations when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.565 per Mile with 2085 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$19.00 per Stop with 15 - 20 Stops per Week s
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
• Working 5 - 6 days per week
• Dispatch: 10AM - 5PM with deliveries next day between 6AM - 8AM
• Must be willing to assist at other locations

• Deliver SOLOTo:TX, LA, OK, AR,KS, CO, NM
• Route: Regional
• Tractor Type: Sleeper with APUs

• Equipment: Lift gate and Pallet Jacks
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
