Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Shelbyville, KY, offering weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a strong safety culture. You will operate 36 months or newer trucks with 24/7 roadside maintenance support and non-touch freight when applicable.

Expect long-standing routes with regional deliveries to multiple states, a 50+ hour workweek, and paid training. PTO starts day one, with uniforms and boot allowances provided.

Qualifications

• CDL-A with required endorsements and DOT-compliant driving record.
• Ability to read and follow written or oral instructions.
• Demonstrated safety-conscious driving history and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and logs.

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Shelbyville, KY - offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly


• Hours Per Week: 50+ hours Per Week


• Solo Miles Pay:$0.59 per Mile with 2400 - 2800 Miles Per Week


• Drop and Hook Pay: $14.00 Per Drop/Hook


• Per Diem Pay: $50 per night with 3 - 5 overnights per Week


• Paid Training


• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, Monday - Friday, Or Tuesday - Saturday


• Start Time: 2:00 AM - 8:00 AM Dispatch

• Deliver SOLOTo: IN, TN, OH, MS, SC, WI, IL, MI, GA, LA, NH, CT, AR, NJ, & PA


• Route: Regional

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age


• Pass a Ryder Drug Test


• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years


• Pass a DOT physical


• Pass a Ryder road test


• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position


• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  
  
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  
  
  • 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
  
  
  • 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
  
  


• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions


• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
