Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Milton, PA. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and paid training.

Home weekly with 3–4 layovers per week, and a sign-on bonus is available. Drivers operate modern trucks with Curtain-side trailers, delivering across the Midwest and East Coast. Expect guaranteed weekly earnings around the advertised base plus per-mile pay, stops, and per diem.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with endorsements for the position.
• Must have 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and background check including motor vehicle records.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.70 per Mile with 1800+ Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$10 per Stop with 9 + stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $30 per night with 3 - 4 nights per Week
• Sign On Bonus:$2500 Pays you $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
• Loyalty Bonus: $2500 Pays you at $1250 at 6 months and $1250 1 Year
• Schedule: Dispatch Sunday AM, returning Thursday PM or Friday AM
• Home Weekly, 3-4 layover in truck per week

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
