Average pay is about $1,900 per week with additional per diem, sign-on bonuses at 30 and 90 days, quarterly safety bonuses, PTO from day one, uniform/boot allowances, and a 401(k) with company match. Route includes MI, IN, IL, IA, WI, OH, MN, PA, NY.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a DOT physical, road test, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; inspect and load/unload as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly


• Solo Miles Pay:$0.67 per Mile with average 2000 Miles per Week


• Solo Stops Pay:$33.50 per Stop with average 15 Stops per Week


• Per Diem Pay: $60.00 per night with 2+ nights per Week


• Sign on Bonus:Pays you $1750 at 30 days and $1750 at 90 days


• Safety Bonus:Pays You $300 Four Times A Year (Every Quarter)


• Schedule: Monday - Friday (1 Saturday per month)

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age


• Pass a Ryder Drug Test


• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years


• Pass a DOT physical


• Pass a Ryder road test


• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position


• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:


• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR


• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR


• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years


• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions


• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
