Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Team Class A CDL Truck Driver in Las Vegas, NV with weekly pay, great benefits, and a driving career path. Drivers are paid weekly and can earn $2100+ per week, with top earners over $2800 weekly.

Regional routes, sleeper and reefer equipment, and training are provided. Requirements include a Class A CDL with endorsements, 9 months to 5+ years experience as detailed, and ability to pass drug, background, DOT, and road tests.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions; read and apply policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards; maintaining accurate logs.
• Loading/unloading freight if required by customer; performing related duties.

Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $2100 or more per week - TOP EARNERS MAKE $2800 or more per week

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Hours Per Week: Up to 60 or more hours per week
• Team Miles Pay:$0.43 per Mile with 1900+ Miles per Week for each driver
• Team Stops Pay:$24.00 per Stop with 18 Stops per Week total
• $25.00 hourly for any non-driving functions
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday OR Sunday - Thursday
• Home 2 days for reset
• Start Time: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Dispatch Window

• Equipment: Pallet Jack, Forklift & Hand Truck
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch – Retail Hardware Supplies
• Endorsements: Hazmat & Doubles- Must obtain Within 30 Days of Hire

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
