Job summary

Pay starts at $1,941 per week with additional pay for miles, stops, and per diem, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Training is provided and schedules include Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background checks.
• DOT physical and road test required.
• Endorsements as required for position.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$1941 or more per week - And it gets better

• Solo Miles Pay:$0.72 per Mile with 2000 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$34.14 per Stop with 9 - 13 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night with 4 - 5 nights per Week
• Sign On Bonus:$10000 - Paid out as $5000 at 30 days and $5000 at 90 days
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday
• Start Time: PM/AM Dispatch

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
