Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Gainesville, FL. The role offers weekly pay, modern equipment, and a driver-focused culture that values safety and reliability.

Earn $1,200+ per week with mileage and stops pay, per diem, and paid training. Regional routes use 53' dry vans with International sleepers; 34 hr weekly resets and flexible dispatch windows align with routes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a background and motor vehicle check including DOT verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years OR 2 years within the last 5 years OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.54 per Mile with 1800 Miles per Week
• Stops Pay: $24.00 per stop 5 - 12 stops a week
• Per Diem Pay: $66.00 per night with 2-3 nights per Week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: 7 Day Operation - 34 hr reset either Fri & Sat or Sat & Sun
• Dispatch Window: 1:00 AM - 11:00 PM - Depending on route
