Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Jacksonville, Florida, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. The role includes potential local weeks, travel across TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, FL and VA, and a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days.

You will earn $1,700+ per week, with Solo Miles at $0.60 per mile (1,800–2,600 miles weekly) and $24.72 per stop (20–30 stops weekly), plus $61.80 per night in per diem and a $1,200 annual safety bonus

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and/or agency rules
• Detecting safety hazards and maintaining accurate records/logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.60 per Mile with 1800 - 2600 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$24.72 per Stop with 20 - 30 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $61.80 per night for every night out
• Safety Bonus:Pays you $ 1200 every year in November
• Schedule: Extra Board Driver Out 1 - 2 Weeks at a time
• Some weeks the Driver may work local
