Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Kapolei, HI — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

You will drive a shuttle between Ryder customer facilities with no touch freight, starting at 7:00 am, with 40+ hours per week and paid training. Medical, dental & vision after 30 days, PTO from day 1, uniforms, boot allowance, and 401(k) with company match are included.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Must pass Ryder drug test and background and motor vehicle checks including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle and comply with safety and DOT regulations.
• Follow established routes and perform shuttle movements between Ryder facilities.
• Maintain accurate records and logs, and support customer service duties as needed.
• Adhere to company safety standards, participate in ongoing training, and support a team environment.

$920 per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $23 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday with weekends as needed
• Start Time: 7:00 am

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement
• Transferring rental equipment/ delivering trucks to customers, parts (straight trucks, vans, day cabs, sleepers, cabovers, etc.. based on what needs to be transferred)
• Parts Pick Up

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• Earn PTO starting Day 1. Up to 80 hours accrued in 1st year

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service
