Ryder is a premier logistics company hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Nashville, TN. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Position features local home daily, Monday–Friday schedule with a start time around 8:00 AM. Trucks are modern and supported by 800+ maintenance facilities; benefits include medical/dental/vision after 30 days, PTO from day 1 (up to 80 hours), uniforms and boot allowance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs Other tasks as assigned

Weekly Pay $840 per week And it gets better -

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $21.00 Per Hour
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Start Time: 8:00 AM

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.
