Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Latrobe, PA is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local home-daily routes. Earn weekly pay of $1,500 plus per-mile and per-stop bonuses, with paid training and a schedule Mon–Fri, off weekends.

Start time 6:00 AM; equipment includes day cabs, flatbeds and covered wagons; manual transmissions required. Benefits after 30 days include medical, dental and vision; PTO from day 1 with up to 80 hours first year; uniforms and boot allowance; 401(k) with company match;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Hold a Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in past 3 years, OR 2 years in past 5, OR 5 years in past 10.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay & Schedule

Drivers earn $ 1,500 weekly, and it gets better

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.51 per Mile with 1800 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $16.17 per Stop with 15 Stops per Week
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday OFF WEEKENDS
• Start Time: 6:00 AM

Route & Equipment

• Deliver SOLOTo:PA and OH
• Route: Local Home Daily
• Tractor Type: Day Cabs
• MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE MANUALS
• TrailerType:Flatbed and Covered Wagons
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Vehicle & Maintenance

Ryder Drivers operate well‑maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
