Ryder System, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join a local, home-daily schedule. The role offers weekly pay, strong benefits after 30 days, and a solid path in auto parts delivery with no touch freight.

You will drive a day cab, with routes limited to 500-600 miles, and opportunities for sign-on and performance bonuses. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and punctuality in daily local work.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly
• Weekly Guarantee $1415 per week
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.52 per Mile with 2500 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay:$10.50 per Stop with 10 - 20 Stops per Week
• Drop and Hook Pay: $6.25 per Drop/Hook
• Sign On Bonus:Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
• Shutdown Bonus: Pays You $2000 In 2 Installments in your First Year
• Safety Bonus: Pays You Up To $250 Per Quarter If Applicable
• Schedule: Monday – Friday Or Tuesday - Saturday
• Start Time: Must be open to AM or PM due to bid system

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
