Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to cover routes in the Nashville region. Weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a path for a long driving career are highlighted. Training is provided and endorsements boost pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, background check, and motor vehicle records check for last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate Class A CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 3 qualifying experience windows: 9 months in last 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $29.00 Per Hour

• Tractor Type: Day Cabs and Sleepers - Possibility of 26' Straight Truck
• TrailerType:48' - 53' Flatbeds, Dry Vans, Reefers, Conestogas, Curtainsides and Container
• Equipment: pallet jack, lift gate, rollers or Moffett
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight:Mix or Touch and No Touch
• 1 year of flatbed experience
• Hazmat, Tanker & Doubles/Triples Endorsements required
• Experience with strapping, chaining & tarping

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
