Ryder System, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join a regional, 40+ hour week. Expect weekly pay of around $2,000+ with base hourly pay of $29.00, per diem, and bonuses for endorsements.

Position includes paid training, 401(k) options, and benefits after 30 days. Must have Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements and be willing to train on equipment. Flexible schedule and travel across IN/OH/MI/TN/KY.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age or older.
• Pass a Ryder drug test as part of the screening.
• Complete Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including 3 years of history.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 1 of 3 experience scenarios: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in past 5 OR 5 years in past 10.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant federal/state laws and company standards.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of driving activity.
• Assist in loading/unloading freight when required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper

• 1 year of Flatbed experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities
