Ryder System, Inc. in Appleton, WI is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and a path to a stable driving career with weekend home time.

Compensation includes weekly pay of $2020+ on the account, plus per-mile and per-stop bonuses, per diem, and a $3000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Training is provided and routes cover multiple Midwest states with a sleeper tractor and dry van/Conestoga trailers.

Formación

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsabilidades

• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Pay Details

• Ryder Employees who Drive on this account earn $2020 or more Weekly
• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.60 per Mile with 1800+ Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $24.00 per Stop with 20+ Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $51.50 per night with 4 nights per Week
• Sign On Bonus: $3000 Pays you $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Home Every Weekend
• Start Time: Day Time Start

Routes & Equipment

• Deliver SOLO To: WI, MN, North & South Dakota, KS, IA, MO, MI, OH, KY, NE, IL, & IN
• Route: Home Every Weekend
• Tractor Type: Sleeper
• Trailer Type: Dry Van & Conestoga
• Cannot accept an auto-only restriction
• Equipment: Pallet Jack
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: Touch – Pallet and Piece Unloading

Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations
