Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Traverse City, MI seeks a Part Time SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver to shuttle equipment between Ryder customer facilities. Earn $20.00 per hour with weekly pay and local home daily, Monday–Friday, starting around 7 AM.

This role offers uniforms allowance, immediate 401k rollover with company match, and driver autonomy to make driving condition decisions while staying compliant with safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a commercial vehicle and complying with safety and DOT regulations.
• Maintain logs and records with accuracy and ensure customer service quality.
• Support continuous training and adhere to company policies.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $20.00 Per Hour
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Start Time: Flexible (7AM start time)

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement
