Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements.
• DOT medical card required.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Pass a DOT physical and road test.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• 9 months experience in past 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Ability to read, interpret laws, regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws and company rules.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$1500 weekly average AND it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Weekly Minimum Guarantee of $1341.35 per week (40 hour week)
• $206 Day Trip plus miles and stops
• Hours Per Week: 50 + hours per week
• Loyalty Bonus:Pays you $1000 at 6 months and $1000 at 1 year.
• Sign-on Bonus: Pays you $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days.
• Annual Tenure Bonus:$1200 per year, paid out at $300 per quarter
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Start time: 6:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
