Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, MO, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. This role delivers to a 300-mile radius of Springfield, with a home-daily route, day cab or sleeper, and 53' dry van equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check for last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements.
• Class A verifiable experience in tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 OR 5 years in last 10.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain logs and records.
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour
• Hours Per Week: 45 + hours per week
• Safety Bonus: Pays up to $350 a quarter.

• Schedule: 5 days on, with 2 days off
• Start Time: 7:00 pm - 3:30 am

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
