Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Masillon, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Your paycheck is weekly at $660 based on 30 hours, with hourly pay of $22.00 and home daily. Schedule is Monday-Friday with 30–35 hours per week, starting at 8:00 AM, flexible hours based on the driver’s schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle and comply with safety & DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Support customers and operate with professionalism.

Your probably wondering what your paycheck will look like…

Weekly Pay $660 per week (based on 30 hours)

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Hourly Pay: $22.00 Per Hour
• Home Time: Local - Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (30-35 hours per week)
• Start Time: 8:00 AM (FLEXIBLE HOURS BASED ON DRIVER'S SCHEDULE)

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
