Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Columbia, SC.

Compensation and Schedule

• Average weekly pay: $1300+
• Pay per mile: $0.55 with 2280 miles/week
• Stop pay: $13.35 per stop with 5 stops/week
• Hours: 50 hours/week
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, start at 3:30 AM

Route Details

• Deliver SOLO to SC and GA
• Local home daily route
• Tractor type: Day Cab with 53' Dry Van
• Freight: Drop & Hook

Trucks include 24/7 roadside maintenance; fuel is provided at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Experience: 9 months in last 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Load/unload freight or assist as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
