Job summary

NFI is seeking professional drivers to join our dedicated refrigerated fleet, delivering freight across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois. Avg weekly pay is $1,700–$1,900 and routes allow home time on a regular basis.

We provide late-model equipment and comprehensive benefits starting day one, with on-site management support to help you thrive in a people-focused trucking company.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• One year of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
• Acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive refrigerated freight across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois in a safe and compliant manner.
• Follow all federal/state laws, regulations, and customer rules.
• Perform duties safely, including routine vehicle inspections and reporting issues as needed.

NFI Driver Expectations And Requirements

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards and guidelines.
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during and after route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
