Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Earth City, MO is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join a team delivering metal, aluminum, brass and copper with mostly no-touch freight. The role features a weekly guarantee of $1,500, home daily routes, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months past 3 years, OR 2 years past 5 years, OR 5 years past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards and maintaining accurate records/logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer

• Solo Miles: $0.60 cpm with 2600 miles per week
• Stops: $15.00 per stop
• Hours Per Week: 40 or more hours per week
• Tenure Bonus:Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, OFF WEEKENDS
• Start Time: Varies - 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM
