Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Class A Delivery & Yard Driver in New City, NY for an in-person role. Enjoy a daytime schedule from ~6:00 AM to 5:00–6:00 PM and return home each night, supporting a growing food manufacturer with a modern facility.

You will transport goods, maneuver trailers in the yard, and load/unload with forklift or pallet jack, while ensuring DOT compliance and accurate logs. A strong team environment and stable company provide excellent growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record.
• 3+ years of driving experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job description

Truck Driver CDL-A New City, NY | In-Person | $31 - $33 /hr | Full-Time

A well established and growing food manufacturer with a state-of-the-art facility and a team that cares about their people is hiring a Class A Delivery & Yard Driver for its shipping and logistics department. Enjoy a steady day schedule of roughly 6:00 AM to 5:00 or 6:00 PM and sleep in your own bed every night.

What You’ll Do:

• Transport goods and raw materials between company facilities and locations
• Move trailers around the yard for efficient loading and unloading
• Load and unload trailers using a forklift or electric pallet jack
• Complete over-the-road deliveries, including pickups from designated locations
• Inspect your vehicle and equipment before and after trips and report any issues
• Keep accurate delivery logs and stay in touch with dispatch and warehouse teams
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols

What You Bring:

• Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record
• 3+ years of driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift and/or pallet jack experience
• Strong knowledge of transportation safety standards and DOT regulations
• Ability to handle loading and unloading when needed
• Good time management and communication skills in English
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (relocation is not offered)
