Job summary

CEEUS, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver with a CDL A for a home-daily position based in Glen Allen, VA, with daily travel through Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. Responsibilities include daily deliveries, loading/unloading, and rigorous safety compliance.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and communicate professionally with customers to obtain signatures. Valid CDL A, clean driving record, and DOT knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Ability to load and unload trucks and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Demonstrates professionalism, punctuality, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles (CDL Class A) to complete daily deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and complies with DOT safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery and obtain required signatures or documentation.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and records in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
• Report any delays, accidents, mechanical issues, or route changes to dispatch or supervisor.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness as needed.
• Represent CEEUS in a courteous and professional manner at all customer locations.

Working Location and Conditions

• Based in Glen Allen, VA, with daily travel throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware
• Home daily position
• Standard working hours are Monday through Friday with early morning starts
• Occasional overtime or adjusted schedules may be required based on route demand
• Requires the ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Requires sitting, driving, climbing, and frequent movement in and out of the truck

Requirements:
