Job summary

Carpenter Co. in Indiana is seeking an OTR Driver to deliver finished products to external customers across a defined geography. You will operate and maintain a company vehicle and ensure safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and timely deliveries.

The role requires a Class A CDL (with manual transmission endorsement) and the ability to lift heavy rolls. You will handle paperwork and unload at each stop, with a strong emphasis on service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL including Manual Transmission Endorsement, but no experience required.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Must adhere to all DOT Regulations and practice safe driving techniques.
• Must maintain accurate paperwork and electronic DOT logs.
• Must unload finished product at each destination as required.
• Must be able to lift carpet cushion rolls weighing 50 to 90 lbs.
• Must follow Carpenter Co. rules to include safety regulations, attendance and personal conduct.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.

Additional Information:

• Drivers are paid for all hours worked-Mileage-Hourly-Unloading Pay-Meals
• We also have Profit Sharing and a great Benefit Package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability and paid time off (Vacation and Holidays).
• Salary 1st year average is $88,000 and higher for Road Drivers!
• Sign on Bonus and/or tuition payback details will be discussed in person
