Job summary

PROTECH Delivery & Installation partners with WDC Kitchen & Bath Center to deliver and install major appliances. We are seeking skilled and reliable drivers to join our team as Appliance Installer/Driver, operating company trucks and handling installation duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and 1–2 years of appliance installation experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, with flexible hours to accommodate scheduling needs.

PROTECH Delivery & Installation

partners with WDC Kitchen & Bath Center to provide best-in-class customer service when it is time for product to be delivered and installed. We are looking for skilled and reliable Drivers to join our team! The Appliance Installer/Driver is responsible for operating company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations as well as installing major appliances.

Essential Duties

• Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
• Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials for customer deliveries.
• Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers
• Transport and install major appliances.

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicles
• 1 -2 years of Experience in installation of appliances preferred
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Walk, stand, operate equipment/vehicles up to 8 hours per day;
• Use hands to handle, or feel objects and controls such as those on telephones and computers, boxes, and shipping materials;
• talk and hear in person and on the telephone;
• Reach with hands and arms, grasp objects, push/pull objects of 10-50 pounds, twist the upper body, rotate the wrist, and use finger dexterity writing and using the computer.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation

Starting Pay Range

• $44,000 - 55,000 annual average
• $21 - 26.50 an hour

Schedule

• Saturday availability required
• Full Time: 5 days a week
