Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses from local routes in Michigan. You’ll be the face of Ferrellgas, providing service with safety, integrity, and teamwork, while keeping families warm year-round.

The role emphasizes a strong safety mindset, adherence to DOT standards, and the ability to perform daily vehicle inspections. Local routing means you’re home each night and eligible for our robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• Class A or B CDL required, with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
