Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver in Manistee, MI to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. You’ll keep families warm and safe while representing Ferrellgas on local routes, with home-time every night.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional service. You’ll operate propane trucks per DOT and company standards, perform daily inspections, and assist customers with questions or concerns about deliveries and safety.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record and clean background.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• United States citizenship, national status, or work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
