Job summary

Ferrellgas in Warrensburg, IL is seeking a dependable CDL driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. You’ll be on local routes with home every night, upholding safety standards and customer service.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, logs, on-call rotations, and teamwork. Training is provided, and you’ll join a company that values integrity and community.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license (A or B) and HazMat endorsement; able to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good driving record and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
