Job summary

RES is seeking a responsible truck driver to safely operate vehicles and support construction-site operations. You will load/unload, inspect sites for safety, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires valid CDL, clean MVR, and the ability to work across varied terrains and weather conditions on remote job sites. We offer a stable full-time position with safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in the construction field preferred.
  • Maintain a clear motor vehicle record (MVR) per DOT and company standards.
  • Maintain a valid license/CDL in good standing (Class A/B/DOT).
  • Tanker endorsements are a plus.

Summary:

Responsible for safely and efficiently operating and driving trucks/vehicles to support operations at the project site.

Specific duties:
  • Operates vehicles and/or equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Loads and unloads truck to and from job site, may involve heavy lifting.
  • Inspects site to ensure safe environment to load and unload.
  • Compliant with site policies and safety procedures.
  • Reports any accidents and/or injuries immediately.
  • For DOT drivers:
    • Performs all required DOT inspections and complies with other regulatory DOT requirements by adhering to state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to operate and drive a vehicle/truck.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately.
  • Ability to work on different types of terrain.
Qualifications:

    • Class A license
    • Class B license

Physical requirements and environment:

Construction site environment includes early stage permitting, development and auditing through finished roads and features. Extensive travel with driving to remote sites along with office work in field conditions is also included.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
