Our St. Louis Truck Drivers start at $22.48/hr and can earn up to $28.93 within 15 months!

Position Summary

Perform duties required to load and drive a truck to transport materials to and from specified locations.

Essential Functions

• Operate company truck to pick up and deliver customer parts, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local roads.
• Check ship tickets and materials for delivery, determine pickup and delivery schedules, and organize paperwork.
• Plan travel routes for efficiency.
• Pack, weigh, label, and load customer parts in an orderly fashion using a forklift.
• Organize paperwork upon return, separating delivery receipts and obtaining signatures.
• Maintain accurate records of truck maintenance, inspect the truck, and complete inspection checklists.
• Use a forklift to load and unload customer parts.
• Assess the condition of customer parts before delivery and seek clarification if needed.
• Obtain a physical examination as per DOT regulations.
• Communicate courteously with customers and team members regarding needs and requirements.
• Assist in shipping duties as directed and perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Experience: At least three months in a similar role.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Commercial Driver's License (Class B; manual transmission, air brakes endorsement)
• Must pass DOT background check and physical
• Medical Certificate
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
