Job Summary and Qualifications

The primary responsibility of this role is operating an ROi vehicle, including loading, delivery, and pickup of various items, with possible additional responsibilities. The driver is responsible for the safe delivery of supplies and goods to/from ROi customers. These include, but are not limited to, supplies, mail, small equipment, lab specimens, food, pharmacy, x-rays, recycle, shred, biohazard, oxygen, and laundry.

What you will do in this role:

• Responsible for pick-up and delivery of all required items at the time of service, scanning packages with tracking labels via the designated system.
• Utilize daily equipment safely and log equipment use as required.
• Conduct daily checks in the staging area for items to be delivered, inspecting products if required, and ensuring same-day delivery.
• Maintain all required paperwork, including vehicle inspections, driver reports, temperature logs, and laundry sheets, submitting them to the office team.
• Comply with DOT standards, including maintaining logbooks.
• Use phone and hands-free devices to stay in contact with the logistics team for re-routing and customer service.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• One to five years of supply delivery experience beneficial, with experience operating vehicles up to 26,000 lbs, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
• Class E license required; Class A or B also acceptable.
