Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to safely deliver KENT Feeds products. You will load and unload, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure timely deliveries within a 150-mile radius, based in Sheldon, IA.

The role requires a Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to obtain a Medical Certification Card. You may pursue a Class A CDL in the future as part of career growth.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Medical Certification Card and valid MVR.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Must pass drug/alcohol pre-employment screening.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive short and long distances to deliver feed product to customers on time.

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc., a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE™ family of companies, is looking for a Truck Driver to safely and efficiently deliver KENT Feeds products to our customers. In this role, you’ll handle bulk product loading and unloading, complete pre-trip equipment inspections, and help ensure deliveries arrive safely and on time.

• Candidate must have a minimum of a Class B CDL with the willingness to pursue a Class A CDL.
• Home every night and travel within a 150-mile radius.
• This position is designed and intended to be performed in Sheldon, IA.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive short and long distances to deliver feed product to customers on time

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Safely operate a semi truck with weight of greater than 26,001 lbs, being physically qualified, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including holding a valid CDL Class B license and a Medical Certification Card, and otherwise not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle
• Candidate must have a minimum of a Class B CDL with the willingness to pursue a Class A CDL
• Knowledge and ability to meet all traffic laws and DOT regulations
• Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment screening
• Must provide a current MVR and have a clean driving record
• Must provide a current medical certificate

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor –trailer driving experience
• Experience driving straight truck, belt truck and auger truck
• Experience driving in inclement weather conditions
