Job summary

Kent Nutrition Group, Inc. in Sheldon, IA is seeking a Truck Driver to safely deliver Kent Feeds products within roughly 150 miles. You will load/unload, perform pre-trip inspections, log hours, and maintain positive relationships with customers.

The role requires a valid CDL Class B with medical certification and a willingness to pursue a Class A CDL. Local work with nightly home time and long-term opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class B license with Medical Certification.
• Willing to pursue a Class A CDL.
• Ability to safely operate a semi-truck over 26,001 lbs.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment screening.
• Must provide a current MVR and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive to deliver feed products to customers on time.
• Load and unload product as required.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of the truck.
• Refuel and clean the vehicle after deliveries.
• Report road incidents to the dispatcher and maintain logs.
• Obey all traffic laws and accident procedures.
• Inspect trucks and record any issues.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers.
