Qualifications

Job description

Must drive tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products to locations by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned.

1. Work in a safe and efficient manner, according to Safety Policy.
2. Utilize good customer service skills at all times when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company.
3. Drive truck to deliver feed goods to customers.
4. Inform regular customers of new products and/or services.
5. Perform regular maintenance checks on truck/daily pre-trip inspections.
6. Schedule all maintenance with appropriate personnel.
7. Load/unload truck.
8. Keep vehicle clean at all times in accordance with company image.
9. Assist with other locations as needed.
10. Must be a team player.
11. Work overtime as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Must meet Dept. of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs from the floor to a height of 48”.
3. Requires a high degree of attention and dexterity.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

1. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
2. Must have a valid Class A CDL and 2 years of driving experience.
